Why does everybody like Kovu?

Seriously though, I like the typical anti-hero, which Kovu sorta is, and I like how he breaks out of the mold Zira tried to put him in and found his own path in life. He becomes a really sincere lion willing to lay down his life for Kiara. And again, he's a goof. Love his smirking and playful arrogance. =P

I like Kovu because of his design, lol, and for the rest because he´s drilled to kill Simba but finds out what the real truth is about Ziras bragging, then stands up for himself and tries to resque Simba. I think he´ll be a great lion king!

Just because he has a dark name and frowns sometimes doesn't mean he's emo! He's just frowning, not getting all emotional and whatnot.
