Cub paws-TLK

All cubs have non-extended claws. This However can change when they become adults.

Vitani's do it and so do Nuka's. Kovu is a different story though as his claws don't extend genetically.


(NOTE: This is mearly to show what i've observerd in the TLK universe. Just as my last post "Types of paws." did. It is not to show any wrong or right way to draw your Oc. Just as my last post "Types of paws.". Hope you enjoy this new knowledge if you didn't know already. The same goes for "Types of paws".)

Actually, lions have retractable claws... Even cubs have them. It just so happens that the artists at Walt Disney wanted to make Scar and the outsiders look a little more lethal, so they drew them with their claws ALWAYS drawn... If you notice in Circle of Life, Mufasa's claws aren't drawn at all... and nor are Sarabi's. And in IJCWTBK, Simba's claws are drawn as he climbs up the leds and sings, Ï'm brushing up on looking down... i'm working on my roar!" Just letting u know what i observed too!

I was talking about genetically extending.
In the movie Vitani's claws always extend
as do Zira and Nuka's.
Simba and the rest of the pridelanders can extend and retract them at will.

Point taken... But she was one of the outsiders... so they just gave her that look... All felines by nature usually have their claws retracted... Again, the animators' choice to draw them that awy... That'sall...
