Today, a miracle happened.
I shall explain.
A few months back a girl who rides at the stables I go to, was lucky enough to get her own horse. She named her Sandy! I've not ridden Sandy but she looks nice, but maybe needs getting used to.
Anyways, everyone was a but confused, when she started losing weight on her hips and gaining weight on her belly a few weeks ago. No one was sure whether her feed should be cut or if she should be given more.
Eventually it was decided that she was just being lazy and was working the wrong parts of her body, so nothing was really done about it.
This morning Susie (The yards owner) was mucking out some stables at the other side of the yard, when she heard some sqealing. She ignored it because she knew Blackie was always teasing Sandy and making her squeal.
A bit later on, Susie had a knock at the door, it was the horses owners mother saying she has some news about Sandy. Susie was shocked, thinking that Blackie had hurt her but nope..."There's an extra horse in there..." she said.
I got a text at about 12 saying "Sandy's had a baby!"
And whadda'ya know! I went to the yard and there was a beautiful baby boy, standing with his mother.
Nobody has any idea who the father is, but Sandy came from Ireland, so we expect it was a stallion there, before she went to the horse traders.
He's looking so healthy and has already gone for a canter with his mother!
Sandy is only 4, but is already looking like a perfect mother.
