Pawprints?

I noticed something a little strange while searching for screengrabs to use in a sig. In the scene where cub Kiara is sneaking away from Timon and Pumbaa, a series of pawsteps are visible on the ground.

Here are two that are plainly obvious. They seem a bit big to fit Kiara's cubby paws.

In this next shot, we see a whole trail of them. Has Kiara chosen to stray from the usual path?

I dunno if anyone's noticed this before, but it's new to me. Any ideas?

Never really noticed that! Must be Simbas pawprints (He marked the trail) but the second pictures pawprints fit her size! Hm.......

It's the path Simba marked for Kiara, lol.

That's probably it, so that it tells the viewer that she's not sticking to the path that her father marked naughty Kiara...

Yeah, Simba says "Stay on the path I've marked for you!" as she runs off. ^^
But it is interesting to see a bit of symbolism as Kiara strays from her father's path. Nice find.

I've always noticed them from the very first time I watched the movie. yeah, it's the path Simba marked for her. lol, to make such pawprints without any mud, he must've been very deliberately stomping the ground as he walked

never really thought of the symbolism before, though.
