“Originally, yes, Jade would have been the new Queen when the time came.” Kord says. “But Jade and Destiny cannot produce an heir. So she can’t exactly be the Queen, as that’s the law for prides. Can’t produce an heir, there would be no one to carry pride into the future.” He says. “So, someone else has to. Someone that can have an heir.”
