"Whoa! Whoa!" Sadie immediately jumped in between the two to intervene. "Eveyone calm down! Flash..." She paused. "Let her go, she didn't mean or think about what she said. She's still a child and reacting that violently is not cool." And Nicki..." She turned her gaze to the younger cub. "That's still a sore subject for him, please be more mindful of stuff like that moving forward, okay?"

[Stormy]

Another growl came from behind them. It was Jay. “I don’t care who you are Flash, you DO NOT lay your paws on my children like that. So much for fixing your temper, eh?”

[TheLastLion]

"As I clearly addressed to him just a moment ago." Remarked Sadie, frustrated by Jay's inconvenient timing.

[Stormy]

Jay snarled at Sadie. “Zip it!” He says before turning his attention back to Flash. “Don’t do it again, Flash. Unless you want to be on the receiving end to what you were trying to do to my daughter. And we might just not have a King anymore.” Jay growled before picking up Nicki and taking her away. It was an unusual sight to see Jay upset about anything. Flash slowly looked to Sadie as Jay and the cubs had left. “I… I’m sorry.” He said quietly to Sadie. “I’m trying to change, I promise you.” It was clear Flash meant what he said, due to his devastated facial expression. “I.. I know I’ve promised you a million different times before that this was it and I still screw it all up. I’m sorry. I still get nightmares about that stupid day at the pond all that time ago.”

"I know, sweetie." Sadie gently nuzzled Flash. "I know you didn't mean it and I think Jay knows that as well. I'm going to do everything I can to help you, but you need to promise me that you'll try and patch things up with Jay, alright?" She asked gently.

[Stormy]

Flash returns the nuzzle to Sadie. “On another note; I don’t think I’ve ever seen Jay upset about anything until today. Ever.”

[TheLastLion]

"Nothing angers a parent more than seeing their own children in danger." Sadie responded. "Perhaps I could see you use that anger for good when watching over Connor." She gave him a warm smile.

[Stormy]

“I guess.” Flash responded. Flash then seemed to have blankly stared at Sadie as if he had something to say but didn’t.

"Is there something else?"

[Stormy]

“Not really. Just thinking about how beautiful you are, and how insanely lucky I am to be with you.” Flash responded with his own smile.
