[Stormy]

Destiny wasn’t sure how to take Kayla’s response as a lump formed in Destiny’s throat. “Yeah..” She looks down slightly, followed with a small period of silence.

Jay cleared his throat to break the silence. “Well, Destiny, when you’re ready, you can sleep where you used to sleep when you were younger. The spot wasn’t used again and has remained empty since you went back to Nora & Nova all that time ago. Mostly due to the fact that we really haven’t had any new pride members in a while.”

"I'm sure we'll have a lot of catching up to do." Said Destiny.

[Stormy]

“Eh. Other than cubs being raised here nothing interesting is really happening.” Jay responded. As the three were talking, Jay noticed Kaylee was already asleep on the side. “Well, I guess that’s a sign.” He says picking her up lightly. “I’ll see you guys tomorrow.”

(Destiny nightmare time.)

(Her finding out something happened with Jade while Jade was gone, and a mix of her memories from when she was a cub in Sadie's pride.)

"Yep, well, I'll see you guys tomorrow as well." Kayla nodded before beginning to make her way. "Have a nice rest."

Destiny emerged from the cave... only to be greeted by a sad and forlorn Sadie. "What's wrong?" She asked.

[Stormy]

Sadie looks at Destiny with her distraught expression. "Destiny..." She tried to begin before looking down.

Destiny was beginning to grow more concerned. "What happened?" She asked.

[Stormy]

"Jade..." Sadie started again. "She... she was m-murdered by another lion out there near the mountains."

[TheLastLion]

Destiny's heart sank and her eyes widened as she silently processed the devastating news... "By whom?" She asked with rage and sorrow. "Who killed her!?"
