As the log reached the bottom the hill. "Whoo! That was amazing!" Destiny shouted.

[Stormy]

Jade eventually reached the bottom as well. “My brother used to push me down hills on logs all the time when I was younger. Sometimes without logs. But most of the time with them.”

[TheLastLion]

Destiny smirked. "That sounds equal parts fun and terrifying."

[Stormy]

“Well, the times on the log were fun... I can’t say the same for the times without the log.” Jade gave a faint smile. "Admittedly, it's one of my favorite memories with my brother when I was a cub." Her smile then fades. "Too bad he's a big asshole now."

[TheLastLion]

Destiny looked puzzled, "What happened that caused him to change so drastically?" She asked.

[Stormy]

"I don't know. He was always overprotective in the first place." Jade replied. "But maybe it's just a guy thing to become a miserable jerk when they're older." She shook her head. "I don't know. It's whatever though." She said turning her head to the side. “I don’t exactly like talking about him anyway.”

[TheLastLion]

"Have you ever tried reaching out to him?" Destiny asked. "Take it from me, resentment is a nasty and corrosive thing to hold on to."

[Stormy]

"I don't really have a purpose in doing so." Jade replied. "You do know he is gone, right? He went off for his own pride." Jade seemed a little frustrated at the thought. "But I don't need him. Just you." She says before giving off a faint smile.

Destiny blushed and leaned in to kiss Jade.

[Stormy]

"Well," Jade says. "I do hope he finds what he is looking for. Whatever that is. We should head back now, it's getting late. My dad will freak regardless of me being able to take care of myself." She looks to Destiny. “Unless.... we don’t go back tonight..”
