Sadie chuckled. "I think he likes you," she remarked. "It's almost like you're cousins now.... actually, I guess you kind of are."

[Stormy]

Nicki stared at the cub. "He's looking at me funny."

Soon, Sadie's father walked in with a smile, slowly. Sadie's father himself didn't have much longer, either. "There it is." He says with his smile wrapping a paw around Sadie. “Your mother would be proud of this one, even if it wasn’t her cub.”

Sadie found herself unable to stop the shedding of joyful tears as they descended from her face.

[Stormy]

Sadie’s father used his paw to wipe Sadie’s face gently.

[TheLastLion]

Conal stood beside Sadie's father. "Thank you, Sadie," he told her.

[Stormy]

Sadie wrapped her paws both around Conal and her father.

[TheLastLion]

(I'd like Conal's passing to be more of a bittersweet event and not something that's deeply depressing).

"Just a head's up, Jade is going to go gaga once he sees your baby," Destiny quipped.

"I'm guessing she loves small cubs?" Sadie asks.
