[Stormy]

“Hey.” Nicki said casually as her heavy breathing continued. “Need help after you chased me down?” Nicki asked jokingly.

[TheLastLion]

"Yes, but...." She trailed off. "I'm scared."

[Stormy]

That was the first time Kaylee had said something like that, so it caught Nicki a little off guard. “Well...” Nicki says starting to lower and put her paw out. “You’re going to need to pull yourself up when you take my paw... I’m not strong enough to pull you all myself. I’m hurt.”

[TheLastLion]

"No, not that." Kaylee said. "I- eeek!" She whimpered as she felt her paws beginning to slip a little. "I mean, I'm scared of what else you're not telling me." She started crying. "I'm scared that my own sister can't trust me and vice versa."

[Stormy]

“Frankly-“ Nicki slightly winced at one of her injuries hurting her. “I don’t think is the time to discuss this. Maybe you should trust me right now and take my paw. Before you fall and you won’t be able to trust at all if you’re dead.”

[TheLastLion]

(And we will, but I feel like Nicki at least admitting where went went wrong would do a lot to help lead up to them patching things up.)

"I want to, but..." Kaylee trailed off.

[Stormy]

(Do you mean now?)

“But what?”

[TheLastLion]

(A little.)

[Stormy]

“But...?” Nicki asked, hoping Kaylee would take her paw soon because it was starting to hurt her to stay in one position for too long.
