“Kayla..” Conal says taking a step forward. “Please just rethink this. I’m not saying never. I’m saying this is NOT the time. This is the WORST time to do it. I know you don’t want me taking matters into my own paws, so I suggest you do rethink it before I do it myself.”

[TheLastLion]

"I would urge you to do the same." Kayla replied, "They're both adults, they've both endured a lot at their age, and both of them are more than up to the task," She continued. "It's Sadie's decision to make, not mine, so you can voice your feelings with her. But, I don't think you'll have much luck in changing her mind."

[Stormy]

"You'd have more luck than me." Conal responds. "Kayla, please. For one time, I want you to believe me when I say this isn't the right thing."

[TheLastLion]

"What would you propose we do instead?"

[Stormy]

"All I've asked for you to do is to tell them to hold off just for a little bit. Especially as they take on that leopard. It's going to be a lot for them to take that kid on, get married, and become King & Queen all at once."

[TheLastLion]

"Fine, we'll compromise and have the Wedding be a private affair. No guests," Kayla suggested. "And furthermore, we're not 'dumping' the boy on anyone. All of us are going to make him feel welcomed."

[Stormy]

Conal puts his paw to his face. "Having the wedding be private is not changing anything Kayla. And I never said drop the kid on anyone. But Sadie took him in, that's on her. That is her half son for the time being."

[TheLastLion]

"Well delay the wedding, but it's going to happen eventually." Kayla replied. "I'm sure Sadie will be perfectly open to holding off."

[Stormy]

"Did you think I was trying to stop the wedding completely? You know, for someone who says don't do it, you sure do antagonize me A LOT. Ever since you got here." Conal remarks.

[TheLastLion]

Kayla chuckled, "You'll have to forgive for jumping to such conclusions, especially since your track record has given me almost every reason to suspect you were trying to stop it."
