[Stormy]

Nicki gently took ahold of Kaylee’s paw with a tired nod and smile. By this point they were beside each other, and Nicki lightly leaned on Kaylee with her adrenaline calmed and her exhaustion slowly taking over.

[TheLastLion]

"Night, sis." Kaylee yawned as the two of them began to sleep.

[Stormy]

“Night..” Nicki responds in a soft and quiet tone as she slowly dozed off to sleep. She manages to make it through the night without any additional nightmares.

"Breakfast!" Nicki suddenly hears as she wakes. Her eyelids fluttered open as she heard her mother. Her sister woke beside her.

Kaylee groaned as she was awoken by Nicki's enthusiasm.

[Stormy]

Nicki leaps out of bed with complete disregard of where Kaylee was, hitting her in the head slightly.

"Huh, what happened?"

[Stormy]

Nicki looks back at Kaylee. “Breakfast.” She says before going over to their mother who was calling them.

Kaylee was not far behind her sister as they ran to their mother.

[Stormy]

They come to a halting stop in front of their mother, nearly startling her as she didn't expect them to arrive so quickly. "Well, here you go." She says sliding food their way. "Oh, and Nicki, Kayla wants to talk to you later." Nicki's eyes widened a little. She wasn't exactly ready to talk to anyone at the moment. "Okay." She reluctantly replied.

"You alright there, Nicki?" Kaylee eyed her sister.
