[Stormy]

Just as this happened, Nicki jolted up with a gasp with tears and her eyes. She looked awfully conflicted as she looked at her older sister.

[TheLastLion]

"Nicki, where have you been? Kayla sent me to look for you and-" Before Kaylee could finish her sentence, she was interrupted as she felt Nicki throw her arms around her sister in a tight hug while beginning to sob into her coat. Kaylee was quick to return the gesture.

[Stormy]

Nicki was relieved to feel that her sister was real when she hugged her and that she was finally back into reality. The hug may have been a little bit too tight.

[TheLastLion]

"Um... good to see you too, sis." Kaylee was was still a bit confused about the sudden display of affection, "Not that I don't appreciate it, but what's the occasion?"

[Stormy]

“Nothing.” She sniffled. “Can’t I just love my sister?” She said with a weak-ish smile.

[TheLastLion]

"Eh, fair enough, I guess." Kaylee said nonchalantly as the two continued to embrace. "It's just that we don't exactly do a good job of expressing that with each other. But I'd like to change that starting now: I love you, Nicki." She said warmly.

[Stormy]

Nicki’s heart wrenched as Kaylee says this, as she thought about what she did in her dream. She temporarily presses her nose against Kaylee’s. “I will always. Always.” She says looking directly into Kaylee’s sightless eyes. She knew she couldn’t see her, but she knew she’d be able to feel the emotion on her. Tears still silently fell from Nicki’s eyes.

"Besides, someone's gotta be here to keep you out of trouble or bail you out." Kaylee said teasingly, "I can't see, but I can always sense when you're about to do something crazy." Shs giggled.

[Stormy]

Nicki slightly grinned as she gently pulled away from Kaylee. “Oh, if only you could imagine what goes through my head.” She said a little bit tiredly. Somehow, the dream she had went through took up a lot of her energy and drained her, more than before she even went to sleep.
