[Stormy]

"Why?" She asks.

[TheLastLion]

"Because people attempt suicide for all sorts of reasons. Reasons that you're far too young to hear about right now," Sadie explained. "I know I keep punting on this and I'm truly sorry for that, but one of these days, I will answer all of these questions when the time is right."

[Stormy]

"Oh." She replied blankly. She just sat there after this.

[Stormy]

"You're not going to do that, right?" She asks after a few quiet moments.

[TheLastLion]

"What? No!" Sadie protested.

[Stormy]

Kaylee seemed alarmed by Sadie's loud-ish protest. "I was just asking." She frowns. "Because I don't want you to."

[TheLastLion]

"I would never do something like that. I promise, sweetheart."

[Stormy]

"Okay." Kaylee responds.

Many hours later, after nearly the entire day, one of Flash's eyes finally barely begin to open.

[TheLastLion]

"Hi, sweetheart." Sadie greeted him softly.

[Stormy]

Flash's paw very slowly went up to his head as his eyes remained half open and he tried to figure out what was going on in that exact moment. He groaned softly to himself as his paw remained on his head.
