While Jade herself was resting, her older brother, Kord, was awake and noticed Destiny approaching him.

“Oh, great.” Destiny mumbled as she approached.

Normally, Kord would have made a demeaning snidely remark towards Destiny, but he was too exhausted from a lack of sleep to do so. Bags had formed under his eyelids from the night before, some strange howling noise had kept him up.
