[Stormy]

Flash sat right outside the cave trying to take deep breaths to calm himself. His heart continued to race. He wasn’t aware yet that he had woken Sadie. He felt the very chilly wind blow up against him.

"You okay, Flash? What's on your mind?" Sadie asked.

[Stormy]

Flash seems startled after he hears Sadie. “Oh, nothing. Just a bad dream.” “You can uh.. go back to sleep. I’ll be back in a minute.”

"What was your bad dream about?"

[Stormy]

“Uhmm....” Flash wasn’t about to tell Sadie that he had just murdered her in his dreams, so he hesitated before speaking. “It’s just... a dream I’ve been having since I was a cub. It’s nothing new. It’s fine, really. Go back to sleep.”

[TheLastLion]

Sadie sighed. "Okay, Flash. I just.... I just want you to know that you can come to me and be honest without fear of judgment, okay?"

[Stormy]

Flash takes a deep breath before speaking again. “Remember that one time when we were cubs and I pushed you into that pond? And you had to fight me off because I nearly drowned you? Since that day, I’ve always had nightmares about that day if it had went south and something actually happened. It has always haunted me." Flash's voice became shaky. "I never forgave myself for doing such a stupid thing."

"I had cried to Kayla that night.. I felt like throwing myself in a pit. I swore that I'd never risk your life like that again. And.. the fact that I cared SO MUCH about what I did.. to the point where I felt like DYING... just sealed the deal and made me realize that I really... really liked you. And it just so happened that the day after.. I had confessed that to you."
