Reunion [PRIVATE: TheLastLion and Abyssal_S]

[Stormy]

“Yeah..” Flash says still in the state of being spaced out looking at Sadie.

[TheLastLion]

Sadie eventually returns her gaze to Flash.

[Stormy]

It takes a few more moments after Sadie's gaze for Flash to realize what he was doing, before he shakes his head and looks outward towards the sun. "Sorry." Flash says quickly before returning his look to Sadie.

[TheLastLion]

"Sorry for what?" Sadie looks confused for a moment.

[Stormy]

“I was uh-.. nevermind.” Flash says as he looks the other direction with his face slightly going red.

[TheLastLion]

"Go ahead, it's okay. I won't laugh or make fun of you. I promise." Sadie looks at him deeply in the eyes.

[Stormy]

“No, no. Seriously, it’s nothing.” Flash replied. “I just thought..you..” Flash begins but was unable to finish. He felt like hurling himself off the tree they were on just to get out of that situation, but he didn’t at the same time.

[TheLastLion]

"Felt like what? What is it you're trying to say?" Sadie continues to look confused, but never agitated. She can tell that something is on Flash's mind, but can't quite figure out what that thing is and how he wants to say it.

[Stormy]

“It’s..” Flash looks straight at Sadie. “Nothing major. Nevermind, it’s dumb.” Flash struggled to get anything out. It wasn’t anything bad, it was quite literally only supposed to be a compliment towards Sadie. But to him, it felt silly. And more embarrassing than anything else. Flash began to feel irritated with himself as he puts his paws over his face. He wasn’t used to trying to put himself out there for anyone else. The sun was now completely down, now it was dark as the moonlight started to shine down.

Sadie leans in and nuzzles Flash to calm him.
