“I have my pride. They are back home in a land called Barava beyond the Uthaza river. My family do not travel much. They believe in the old ways of life. It was me and my sister who ventured away to seek new places and animals to learn from.”

"So it's just the two of you? Do you at least keep in touch with your family? I can't imagine how isolating that could feel." Cecilia responded.

"I keep in touch with my family, yes, through an owl family friend who can pass messages back and forth. They are open with me and my sister exploring the world, so that's great. The last time I met up with my sister, she was on her way to another faraway land."
