"I believe his intentions were to kill the King then kill Sadie when she was born, something like that."

"Well, he sounded charming." She replied.

[Stormy]

Conal sighs. "I wish he hadn't made the decision he made. For obvious reasons, of course. But I also would've liked to have one more real conversation with him just to see what was actually going through his head."

[TheLastLion]

"Maybe, but there's no guarantee he would have listened."

[Stormy]

"Right..."

[TheLastLion]

"You can't control his actions, only your own."

[Stormy]

"Unfortunately not. Otherwise most of this wouldn't have happened."

[TheLastLion]

"Should have, could have, would have, it doesn't really matter. We all have regrets, but we can never go back and change the past. Though in fairness, why would we?"

[Stormy]

"To stop bad things from happening." Conal replies in slight confusion.
