Amends [PRIVATE: TheLastLion and Abyssal_S]

"Destiny was kind of just tossed to the side since she was born after. Though she is full Parker's side, Nova and Nora never handled her. She tried to get some attention, but she never did. Which is why she has more trust issues than I do. She did get more.... hit.. then I did.. which is also why she is more snappy around others. Ever notice she flinches when anyone puts a paw out to her?"

"Sadie mentioned something like that."

[Stormy]

"I have an example of one of the many things that happened to Destiny if you'd like to hear it. It's a bit hard to listen to though."

[TheLastLion]

"Such as?" She urges him on.

[Stormy]

—Flashback—

“DESTINY!” Parker tells furiously.
“Y-yes?” Destiny replies walking in, ears folded with her head lowered.

“I told you to pick up all of these and move them out did I not?” Parker says.

“Well yes, but I.. you made me stay up all night because I had to clean up after my brothers training exercise yesterday.. and I-i just needed some res-“

Parker interrupts her.
“Rest? You do not get rest until you do what you’ve been told.”

“You haven’t let me sleep in 2 days...”

“Excuse me?” Parker replies.

“I... I haven’t slept in-“

Parker strikes Destiny in the face with a powerful force, knocking Destiny off her paws and nearly knocking her unconscious. Her nose begins to bleed as well. Parker then proceeds to pin her down and places pressure on Destiny’s throat barely letting her get any oxygen.

“You’re lucky you even have a name, to be here, to be alive.” Parker says. Destiny places her paws on Parker’s in a weak attempt to pull them off her throat. He continues. - “You do what I tell you. You don’t rest, eat, drink until I allow you to. And if you disobey me, I have no problem killing you on the spot. You have no significance in this pride, nor anywhere else. Got it?”

“Y-y..yes si-r.” Destiny barely manages to choke out.

Parker releases Destiny allowing her to breathe properly. She gasps for air.

“You can pick up after tonight as well. And because of your complaints, you can forget about eating for the 2nd night in a row. Your brother leaves tomorrow to get the Princess.” Parker says before leaving.
Destiny stands up shakily, ignoring her slightly swollen black eye and bloody nose, goes to finish her jobs.

Flash’s eyes begin to tear up as he relieves the moment he had to watch his sister be treated like that. He looks over to Destiny who was still sleeping.

Kayla is rendered thunderstruck by this. "I... I had no idea."

[Stormy]

“She had it worse in a lot of ways.”

[TheLastLion]

"It would certainly explain a lot."

[Stormy]

Flash looks up to Kayla. “Can we visit Nor- I mean Jewel?”

[TheLastLion]

"I don't see why not." Kayla says.
