"Sure you're not." Conal replies with a smirk holding in a laugh.

"Okay, maybe I have some minor motherly instincts."

[Stormy]

“Minor? You sense things coming from a mile away with them. Why do you feel the need to be defensive over this?” Conal chuckles. “It’s not really a bad thing.”

"I.. I don't know. I guess I just don't want it to feel like I'm more of a mother to Sadie than her actual mother. Something along those lines."
