“Wha- I-“ Sadie didn’t know what else to say. She only looked like she wanted to bawl her eyes out again. She only runs out quickly, presumably back to her mother.

After a few seconds of silence, Conal turns his head toward Kayla. “So.... still uhm, on the emotional side I see.”

"Yep." Kayla sighs in frustration.

Conal goes to put a reassuring paw on Kayla’s shoulder. “Don’t worry about it too much. Maybe she’s just jealous. She doesn’t get all the attention anymore.”
