Before Flash could react, the ground where his paw was collapsed on itself, causing Flash to fall forward toward the gorge.

[TheLastLion]

Sadie treads over to the edge to see Flash holding onto it eith his paws, relieved that he wasn't dead but terrified that he still could be.

[Stormy]

Flash attempts to scramble back onto the surface but can’t muster the strength to do so. Flash was breathing quickly from the shock of it all which didn’t help.

[TheLastLion]

"Flash! Hold on!" She cries out desperately, though she can see why that might prove difficult for him. His hind legs scrabble against the cliff wall helplessly and he begins to slip.

[Stormy]

Flash tries to kick himself back up but only had the result of kicking down rocks. “P-please hurry!” Flash cries as he continues to try to readjust his paws.

[TheLastLion]

Sadie reaches out with her paw. "Grab on!" She pleads.

[Stormy]

Flash attempts to get ahold but misses the first try. Flash gives himself another boost and is able to get Sadie’s paw.

[TheLastLion]

Sadie slowly pulls him back up.

[Stormy]

Flash reaches the surface. “Th-thanks...” Flash says breathing heavily and remaining on the ground.

[TheLastLion]

Sadie and Flash back away from the edge. "Not bad for your first week here, eh?" She chuckles.
