"I saw you on the outskirts of the Pride last night, close to the princess." "I don't want to hurt you, I want to help you." Kayla explains. "But I need to know what you were doing last night and if anyone put you up to it." Kayla gently tightens her grip to prevent the cub from scurrying away. "Let's try simple yes or no questions. Blink once for yes, blink twice for no."

[Stormy]

The cub stops shaking after a few more seconds, apparent he was calming down from being startled.

Kayla takes note of the cub's calm demeanor and begins to question him. "Are you a spy or scout working for someone else?"

[Stormy]

The cub blinks once, hesitated then blinked a second time.

[TheLastLion]

"Which one is it?" Kayla asks gently. "Is it yes or no."

[Stormy]

The cub would’ve had to explain it. He decides to blink twice anyways and thought he’d just go with it until he was forced to explain.

"Are we alone? Is there anyone else waiting for you?"

[Stormy]

The cub blinks once.

[TheLastLion]

"I'm going to remove my paw from you mouth and let you talk again. But nothing louder than a whisper, got it?" Kayla ungags him.

[Stormy]

“They are waiting for me, I was working for others but not anymore.” The cub says quickly. “I’ve alone out here for a few days. I was looking for food when you got me because I haven’t eaten in two days because I’ve been on the run.”
