The scent that Kayla picked up on last night grows stronger, indicating that she's close to honing in on the cub.

[Stormy]

The cub suddenly gets a strong feeling something is come towards him, he scans and finds nothing.

[TheLastLion]

Kayla hides in the bushes. Evading his sight. "Come on kid, please don't make this difficult." She says to herself.

[Stormy]

The cub very slowly takes a few steps away, ready to run if something comes out.

[TheLastLion]

Kayla moves slowly, making as little noise as possible and in hes closer to him.

[Stormy]

"Hello?" The cub says very nervously still looking around.

[TheLastLion]

Kayla is at an impasse. If she jumps out and startles the cub, he might run off and/or alert anyone he was with. But if she lets her guard down, he could take advantage of that. After weighing her options, she makes her decision. She sneaks behind the cub and gently places her paw over his mouth to whisper in his ear, "Are you alone?" While not the most subtle approach, Kayla figures she can't take her chances.

[Stormy]

The cub lightly jumps and freezes in place, not knowing what to do.

[TheLastLion]

"Sorry about scaring you, but I need to know whether or not you're a spy or a scout." Kayla explains while turning the cub around to face her as she covered his mouth. "Understand?"

[Stormy]

The cub does nothing but stare at Kayla, slightly shaking with fear still not sure whether he should try to run for it or not.
