“C-con!” Sadie squirms from Kayla’s hold.
Conal looks to Sadie completely forgetting she was there.

"She likes you." Kayla grins. "I think she's trying to tell you something.."

[Stormy]

Conal only watches as Sadie stumbles towards him and climbs on his back. Jay only flinches as it happens - he wouldn’t hurt a cub, he wouldn’t hurt a cub. Jay says to himself over again in his head.

Kayla puts an assuring paw on Jay's shoulder.

Jay looks to Kayla then back to Conal & Sadie. Sadie just rests on Conal’s back. And somehow - seemed as if the tense in Conal had eased down immensely.

"She's very playful, it seems." Kayla notes, appreciating the slight grin on Conal's face.

[Stormy]

Sadie nuzzles Conal’s back as she lays on it. “It’s almost like she knows. Almost if she purposely went to calm him down.” Jay says extremely quietly.

"Children have that kind of effect on people."

[Stormy]

“I guess so.” Jay looks to Kayla. “What now?”

[TheLastLion]

"Honestly, I think we're good now. Let's just let him heal up."
