Jay knows deep down he should go with Kayla, not only because it’s dangerous going alone, but for the sake of Conal’s safety too. He didn’t HATE him after all.

“God damn you Conal.” Jay says to himself as he turns around and walks to Kayla.

"I know this isn't easy for you but trust me, you're doing the right thing."

[Stormy]

“Raaaaaaaheu!” The cub could be seen stumbling towards Kayla. “Ra!”

[TheLastLion]

"The hell?" Kayla looks at the cub in confusion.

[Stormy]

Jay can’t help but smile. “I think she likes you.”
“Raaheu!” The cub nuzzles Kayla’s leg.
“She must’ve gotten attached when you and Conal saved her”

[TheLastLion]

"How? What!? How!" Kayla utters in disbelief.

[Stormy]

The cub was practically trying to jump onto Kayla. “Raahue!”
“Like.. REALLY attached?” Jay was surprised at the amount of attention the cub wanted from Kayla.

[TheLastLion]

"What the hell do I do now?!" Kayla asks.

[Stormy]

“I don’t know but you seem a bit tense, heh.”
The cub lets a small laugh.

"I'll look after her, I guess. In the meantime, I need you to find Conal."
