Kayla's heart sinks at this unexpectedly tragic news. Her ears droop down and her enthusiasm fades away "How long has she been like this?"

“Not very long. Her health has been deteriorating quickly all week. She was fine when we arrived.”

"Was she poisoned or catch some disease?"

[Stormy]

“I uh, I don’t know that much. Everything I’ve heard came from Jay and he hasn’t specified any of that.” Conal knows deep down it’s not very long until the time comes. “Let’s just go see them.”

"We should be there for him to provide moral support." Kayla responds preparing for the worst.

[Stormy]

They go off to find Jay.

They arrive not too long after.

Conal sees Jays devastated expression, but his mom is still living at this time.
