Kayla emerges from her slumber. It has been a week since being welcomed into a new herd.

[Stormy]

“Hey Kayla!” Jay shouted running toward where Kayla had previously been sleeping. “Have you heard the news yet?” Jay asked ecstatically.

[TheLastLion]

"The news?" Kayla asks, completely baffled as to what the larger lion could have been referring to.

[Stormy]

“YOU HAVEN’T? Quick! Follow me!” Jay quickly takes off.

[TheLastLion]

Kayla is fast to run after Jay and see just what this big surprise is.

[Stormy]

They eventually reach a crowd of lions and lioness. Jay squeezes through a little gap and leaves room for Kayla. “Look!” The scene is the queen and her new born cub - the new heir. She would be the next queen for the pride. “She’s so adorable!” Jay could barely contain himself.

Kayla feels her cheeks grinning and a tear escaping her eye as she takes in her first sight of the baby. "Have they named her yet?"

[Stormy]

"Yup, her name is Sadie."

[TheLastLion]

"What a lovely name."

[Stormy]

The queen needed rest, so most of the lions & lioness dispersed from the area.

"I wonder where Conal is, I didn't seem him anywhere in the crowd." Jay says with a thoughtful expression. "I bet you that lazy lion is still sleeping. Conal and I were up pretty late last night." Jay says to Kayla. "Wanna go find him?"
