Conal is visibly getting more irritated with Kayla as the time goes on.
Jay sees the irritation and thinks to himself "Oh please don't do anything stupid Conal. Not trying to break another leg."

"Look, I don't know why you care so much, but you need to put your cares with someone else. I just need to find some other place to go and right now I'm being slowed down." Conal replies with a much more irritated tone.

"Then I'm coming with you." Kayla responds.

[Stormy]

"What for?" Conal asks confused.

[TheLastLion]

"Because I want to go with you."

[Stormy]

"You don't have anything else to do?"

"Can we just shut up and go before I die, please?" Jay asks annoyed.

[TheLastLion]

"We're going... all of us."

[Stormy]

"Fine. Let's just get moving."

[TheLastLion]

"We have to help him."

[Stormy]

“We will.”

Conal puts down Jay as light as he could.

“I’ll be right back, I’m gonna go look for something.”

Conal left leaving Jay and Kayla behind.

“Hey, Kayla.” Jay whispers to Kayla while Conal is still in hearing distance. “I know why Conal doesn’t want to go back for real.”

"Why?" Kayla inquires. "Surely, his family had second thoughts about banishing him."
