The lion keeps up the struggle for a while then eventually gives up.

[TheLastLion]

"Where's Jay?" Kayla asks.

[Stormy]

“Probably bleeding to death right now. You didn’t see him before you ran off? He was caught by the leg, I almost stayed with him instead of following you.”

Conal looks back to the distance where Jay would be.

“We’re going to need to be quick.”

[TheLastLion]

Kayla looks conflicted. The lion would come to if they didn't get him back to the Pridelands soon, but Jay's condition could worsen by the time they get there..

[Stormy]

The lion lets out a large roar and Conal comes to a realization.

“Oh god. Kayla, we need to go. Now.”

[TheLastLion]

Kayla follows Conal, unsure of what thought came to his mind.

[Stormy]

Conal runs to the direction where Jay was.

[TheLastLion]

"Is... is he going to make it?"

[Stormy]

“I don’t think he’s going to die, but that’s not exactly the reason I ran.”

"Then why did you?" Kayla asks, visibly confused.
