Mila looked at Hokori. "Hokori... I... " She looked away. "There's no way he escaped them." She cried. "Right before we went into battle.... he told me..." she cut off, and her tears came down like a waterfall. "He told me he loved me......" She could no longer bare it. She collapsed on the ground, sobbing her eyes out. "I told him I loved him back..." she paused again. "I did love him! I still do love him! Why did this have to happen NOW!" She yelled.

[Zeke]

Hokori could still not believe it. Zeke is dead? He cant be dead. Hokori cried silently to himself, his grey eyes shining in tears.

[NightmareMoon]

"I left him there to die! I could have saved him! If only I had looked back and made sure he was following me..." Mila said. "Zeke...."

Mila laid next to Kiana, hugging her. "I can't believe he's gone.." she whispered.
Kiana did her best to comfort her sister, but she too was in shock from what she just heard.

[Zeke]

Hokori sobbed for a while until something came to mind. "Mila, where's the rest of the pride? Are they gone too?" Hokori asked

"The ones that made it went to the outlands... that's why I came here. I need to take you there. My entire squad was annihilated and I was the only survivor.. so I'm not sure how many of the others are there." Mila said through tears.

[Zeke]

"We should get going then," Hokori suggested as he stood up. He wiped away his tears and waited for Mila to lead the way.

[NightmareMoon]

"I'll show you the way." Mila replied. She picked Kiana up on her back and looked back to Hokori. "Are you still blind, Hok?" She asked.

[Zeke]

"Unfortunately, yes. However, my hearing has adapted pretty well," Hokori said, still sniffling. "Mila, did you get hurt?"

[NightmareMoon]

"Yeah, a claw went straight through my tail" she said, and looked at her tail. It was bleeding a ton. "I can't really feel it much though" she added.

[Zeke]

"I thought I smelled something," Hokori said, keeping his head down and listening to Mila's pawsteps. "Hey Mila, how long did you know Zeke for?"
