From what I can tell, the point is surviving. The point in that? I'm not sure yet. But I keep doing it anyway.

Sometimes I think the point is just to prove to the world that I'm not going to be defeated.

Well, my right hand hurts a little, but luckily I have no broken bones from falling on the ice. I was planning on going to the bank to take care of a couple things, but I'm not doing it in this weather. I don't want to hurt myself more than I already have. There's also no way I am walking home today. My dad can pick me up from the college or the library. I am not walking in this message again. Hopefully it's better conditions tomorrow.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say work is gonna have to do without me tonight. Wouldn't do for someone who's got a fever to be handling clean dishes that will go out to the guests, now would it? They really should have scheduled someone else to close... especially since I'm not supposed to be available for that anyway.

I really need to be more disciplined and get my schedule fixed better, otherwise I'm going to fall behind in a lot of classes.

If they're not going to respect my availability they're going to have yet another person quit on them. This is absurd. I've told two managers, one of whom is in charge of scheduling, that I cannot work close. They both told me it would not happen again, yet two days next week they have me scheduled to do just that. I'm going to have words with them on Saturday, and they had better listen this time. If they don't... they can watch me leave early and fire me for it if they want. Good luck replacing me when they still haven't been able to replace the other people who quit. Ffs.

I will not tolerate this. I will be shown the respect I deserve.
