Female lions also tend to age slower than males iirc.

The ep was really nice! My only complaints are that it sounded like rob lowe had a cold and nalas body got a bit bulky....

Simbas model seems to be looking more and more like classic simba as the series goes on. The animations are also looking smoother.

The song was half decent. Plenty of fun animations. No Mufasa and no roar, it is always nice seeing the writers not use those two things as a crutch.

Also Simba mentioned he had no siblings, meaning what should have been obvious to all but somehow wasn't...Nala's father in the cave painting was NOT mufasa.

Always nice to see simba and nala get more screentime, and i really liked the last 20 seconds of the show. Had this nice grandoise feel.
Uh Grandoise? what does this word mean?

I really liked how the episode ended as well.
i don't think they are littermates at all, and in this episode we see a lot of times kiara and kion side by side and we see that kiara is slightly bigger than kion.
Image
Size variation between litter mates is definitely a thing that happens. And to the contrary, there are many shots throughout the series where Kion looks like the larger of the two. I'm sure it has more to do with just the animation itself and the relatively inconsistent way they scale everything, but it's been pretty clear from the outset that they're the same age; Kiara just likes to rub her firstborn status in Kion's face from time to time, as I've known human twins to do.

usually when one twins call the other little the standard answers is: "you're just X minute older"
That's not the case

Just because Simba says he had no siblings doesn't mean he doesn't have them. As far as he is aware he has none.

I liked this episode, I don't see any serious contradictions to SP's Kiara. She is basically around 10-12 years in human years and her opinion could have changed since she was a young cub. Maybe the birth of Kion changed her too.
I'm not sure if they are littermates with Kion or not. The thing is, male cubs do grow muсh more quickly and in the age of one year males usually weight 10-15 kilos more than females. So if they are the same size then Kiara have to be slightly older.

By the way Kiara said that "mom is twice our size". Well, it means that they roughly weigh around 60 kiograms and it correlates with their hypothetic age as about one year old.

And i agree with someone's guess that this "Tradition" was made up by Simba and Nala to prevent the Scar's situation.

That comeback would be useless to Kion because Kiara can just shoot back with, "But I will still be Queen."

That is a very plausible theory, because I could not see Mufasa and Scar passing this test.
