I also like Kovu, both is cub and adolescent forms. He has an interesting personality, past, and future. As an author, it's hard not to get attached to him, XD.

He's my favorite character. I think it's kind of a cool contrast that's he's raised all evil and terrible but ends up as this really pure and basically innocent guy after he's taken away from the Outlands and lives among people that actually care about him. He's also really brave. And (IMO) a little braver than Simba (DON'T SLAM ME! xP)... because you can kind of compare when they both have to tell their respective mates about their respective dark/shameful pasts, Simba says "Impossible, she'd turn away from me" where as Kovu says "She'll never believe me... but I have to try. Kovu's just an ultimate bro.
