My job has me working Wednesday through Friday next week, effectively canceling my family's Thanksgiving plans despite us knowing I would be working on the actual day. Not only that, but one of those days they have me working closing, which means they're going to mess up my sleep schedule, right before the weekend. Which is another thing. They scheduled me Friday morning and I'm not available on weekday mornings! So I guess I'm going to need extra coffee next week.

I know I need the money, but what part of "we have only one car" and "this is my availability" do they not understand? I hope my sickness is well and truly gone by then...

I have to wake up at 4:00 a.m. tomorrow in order to leave the house at 4:30 so that I can get to work by 7. Luckily I'm only working five hours, and, if my dad picks me up, I'll be able to get home by 12:15 p.m., which will give me plenty of time to work on homework (and watch some football). I'm so sick of this job, though. Needing a doctor's note because I miss one day of work (which I still don't have - they'll just have to put up with it)? Contradictory ways of making the food? (Seriously. One manager will show you one way to make food, and the next will yell at you for doing it that way and show you the "proper" way to do it.) And half the time all I do is wash dishes. Granted, I don't mind washing dishes. In fact, it's the most enjoyable thing to do because it's relaxing and nobody really corrects me on it. But still. There are other restaurants that have dishwashers as one of their positions. I could easily apply there if I wanted to wash dishes all the time. It sure would save me a lot of stress! Please, let one of the jobs I've recently applied for accept me as a new employee.

My Pichu has a - Defense nature, and seems to not be gaining much in the Defense stat via level up. Probably has a terrible IV, lol.
