Sorry if I missed the point or anything by the way I'm on a phone.

Getting more stressed and worried about him as time goes on. Didn't quite get enough sleep because I was up later than I had planned. But at least I got around 7 hours, which is decent enough to not leave me feeling too exhausted. Woulda slept more but I woke up around an hour and a half earlier than I needed to. Had I gone back to sleep, I probably would have slept too long. Mom would have woken me up when my body would not have been ready to wake up.

When I graduated high school I moved to a different part of the country, away from my home, and didn't look back or think twice about it. I just kinda always knew that's what I wanted to do and I'm glad I didn't second guess myself as I can't imagine being anywhere else.
I mean don't get me wrong, I still go back about twice a year to see my dad and my new stepmom, since I love and appreciate them, but whenever I go back to my hometown I get this sense of "this is familiar to me, but boy... glad I left this sad little place - I was never all that happy here." The idea of staying in the area never much appealed to me.
Just my two cents, to be honest.
It's not like I don't like anything about the place I live in and I'd honestly miss it, if I left, but there's just something there. I can't find words to explain it, but it's like a part of myself is missing. It's that whole "My house may be here, but where is my home?" cliché.

I do find it annoying when people try to dissuade you from trying new things like that though, but in any case it's an important choice and you need to really look into it beforehand (considering moving to another country is significantly more difficult).
