I think a friend of mine and myself might be drifting apart. I've been having this feeling for a while, but it just seems more true as time goes on. I hope I'm wrong, but if not, at least there's no hard feelings when people drift away.

I'm used to friendships ending suddenly and full of ugliness, so this would be a welcome change, I guess. Hopefully I'm just paranoid from stress right now.
Change is the only constant in life. I have friends on here I haven't talked to for almost a year and I have friends I haven't talked to for longer than that. Doesn't mean I wouldn't still do everything I can to help and support them if they needed it or hang out if they wanted to or any of that stuff that friends do, it's just that I keep myself to myself quite a lot because then life is whatever I make it to be. I like freedom in life. I don't really like the idea of making a group of friends and then that's your friends for life but that's just me. And I'm an idiot so what do I know lol.
That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.

Oh I know. I have some friends I haven't spoken with in ages either, and I really don't mind that very much. I don't particulaly like socializing most of the time anyway, but alongside that, I don't like having to make new friends. It's just a huge hassle to go be around strangers until one of them is someone I like enough to become friends with. So it kinda sucks when some of the people I'm closer to become less responsive when I try to socialize with them.

It can definitely be fun to make new friends sometimes, and it's obviously natural for people to drift apart as time goes on. I just like for some sense of stability to exist somewhere, since that's something I don't really experience in life and I don't really have many close friends to begin with. I don't think having a different point of view makes you an idiot, though. Different strokes for different folks or what have you.

Me, about six months back: "Mom, I think I saw a mosquito, and I noticed the front door's been open. Could you please close it behind you more when you go out?"
Mom: *Says something dismissive*
Me, a few weeks back: *Notices door is left fairly wide open again, says nothing*

Me: *Kicks sandals off without really thinking about it before coming in*
Mom: *Criticizes me for not taking them off in a way that makes them easy to put on when you step outside, even though doing so requires me to face backwards of where I'm going when coming in*

It's like... I can't even ask her to do something simple for me. Why should I do something simple for her?

I should probably let everyone know that I love my mom. She's a great woman who has sacrificed the world for me. I would never do anything to hurt her and she's great the vast majority of the time.

She just occasionally has her moments that worry me, sadden me, or tick me off. Which is unfortunate. But I love her so much anyways <3

The only problem with him telling her that the reason he doesn't want to date her is because he's gay... is that one day he'll find someone and she'll find out it was all a lie.

:(

Pokemon sun/moon apparently has long loading times/poor framerate on a regular 3ds. I dont want to pay 200 dollars for the new fancypants 3ds remodel just to properly experience the game :(
Why do we fall? So that we can learn to pick ourselves back up again.
