Nala's Father

Well, if Disney did pay attention to real life facts, no, Simba and Nala shouldn't be related, XD. I think that the most realistic option would be Nala's father is a rouge, though I'm open to other ideas and opinions.

Hmm, interesting. I would Think that Mufasa was Nala's father, due to the real facts. But since it's Disney and Disney leaves all them important facts out, then it could be any random lion o_o poor Nala, everybody wants to know who their real parents are...

Maybe one of the subcanon characters could have been her father? Like King Joe, Mega, Leo or one of the others? Or the unnamed lions that are in the pic with Mufasa in one of my other topics. There are more than just the lions in the movies, so it could be possible that one of those subcanons is her father. Personally, I think Leo looks the most like Nala when it comes to coloring.

That is a very strong possibility. As far as I know, Leo is the only male lion ever shown with that colouring, it’s a very unique physical trait.

I'd like to think it was actually Ni. but they never really thought about during production, so they were just basing it on the whole fact that Mufasa and Scar were the only to males in the pride.

but there's the whole thing that there was no mention of that Mufasa was her father and Scar tried to make her his girlfriend, so it doesn't really seem likely that they were her father. and then if Sarafina came from another pride, Nala could be the daughter of that reigning male.....so many possibilities

It's a nice arguement but makes no sense.

Ahadi was king of pride rock. That means he mated with Sarafina. It also means Simba and Nala are still related.

I think that neither scar nor mufasa could be her father because some stuff in the movie itself wouldn''t make any sense. Before getting into any of that,i would like to point out that what was said on the lion king reunion (about her father being scar or mufasa) was actually a joke,considering they said taht roger allers could be her father.So what they were trying to say was that her father is unknown,at least for now...If there won't be another sequel.
But back to the subject,Scar can't be her father because on the ion king on broadway he tried to mate with her...
Mufasa can't be her father becuase:
-in the movie he had no interaction at all to nala or sarafina
-in the scene where they sleep,mufasa sarabi and simba are on the middle rock,as they represent the king queen ad prince,if nala was his daughter,wouldn't she be up there too
-simba says that nala is his friend,but if mufasa was her father he would have to say sister,right?
-Zazu tells how it's a tradition going back ages that they will get married( just like in the royal families),and that means that it would be impossible for them to be step siblings because that would mean that pride rock lions were incetious for generations.Nw how little sense would that make!
-When mufasa saves them from the hyenas,he says:'If you ever come near my SON again...' if nala was his daughter,he would probably mention them as his children
-Later on when mufasa is talking to simba alone,he says that he is dissapointed in him because he didn't listen to him and further more becuase he put nala in danger-which is normal for him to worry becuase for a parent taking care of someone else's kid is a greater responsibility than to take care of your own.

And to wrap it all up,it's a disney movie,so figure it out.

How could they say Nala was sired by either Mufasa or Scar when on the broadway they made Scar seduce Nala?!

Disgusting! Theres no way im going to believe Nala was sired by Mufasa or Scar as she doesn't refer to them as dad or father or anything except there names! If anything Scar would've been trying to seduce Sarafina, not Nala! And I doubt Sarafina would go with Scar anyways.

Well, in terms of a normal Lion's pride, that would make a lot of sense, seeing as there is usually only one to four males who share every female in a pride. And usually some of the male Lion's who mate are brothers (like say there were three lions, and they were brothers. They would over-throw the previous head-of-the-pride, and those three brothers would mate with all the females)

However, unlike in the Lion King, in a real Lion's pride, when the cubs reached their "adolescence" the males would force them out the pride, and those young lions and lioness' would scatter around and join other prides... so usually, you wouldn't get the case of cousin-Lions and step-sibling Lion's mating (but it still happens).
