Is there anything Lea Salonga can't sing? She's awesome! :D

Seeing a pic of Tomonobu Itagaki, Dennis Dyack and Marty O'donnel on my fb feed lifted my spirits a bit. I'm already friends with Itagaki., he's a sweetheart. Dennis Dyack even responded to a question!

For those who dont know, Itagaki created the dead or alive franchise and directed ninja gaiden black. Denis Dyack directed eternal darkness and a few legacy of kain games. Marty o'donnel composed the awesome music in the Halo franchise...up to Halo 3 I think.
Why do we fall? So that we can learn to pick ourselves back up again.

Trump winning and Brexit have so many parallels its unreal, including the fact I was upset about both for about 24 hours and then decided that moaning wasn't going to do much good. I want to see what Donald Trump does with this opportunity, and I want to see if Brexit really is good for the UK. To throw my arms up into the air and say 'not my president' (which he isn't in my case lol) and 'not in my name' (in case of the EU) is just blocking the way towards working together and progression.

Agreed.

Though, I do wish I could have formally declared yesterday a holiday, because I sure needed one. It makes just as much sense to have a "complain about election day" holiday as it does to have a "get out to vote" holiday on the day before.

Ffffffs can my knee heal already. :pout: I don't like being forced to stay indoors like this. Feels like I wasted the only sunny period of autumn and now it's just gonna be rain, rain, rain when my knee finally heals.

Also asking myself the real questions on what I should do in a video game. Nice.

This is terrifying and nauseating. I don't know what they've stumbled upon, but this rabbit hole goes pretty deep.

...Was my mom almost about to say she's under no legal obligation to keep me here and if I disagree I can leave?

This right here is why I feigned disinterest in voting. This right here is why I'm forced to vote Republican or not vote at all.

I see many years of halfhearted "yeahs" in my future where I feign agreement with stuff I disagree with. Bless my uber-Christian, conspiracy theorist grandma. The best thing she did for me when she was here, aside from loving me, was train me for this. "Yeah"-ing off stuff about the antichrist prepared me for "yeah"-ing off harsher realities.

And now I'm crying, mostly because I miss said grandma, but also because of how close-minded and ugly my mom gets when presented with my differing opinion. The daughter she's fought tooth and nail for, for years when no else would. Was she really considering throwing me out because one of my Facebook friends made a post about how all Trump supporters should unfriend him? Thank goodness I hadn't hit "like" on the post.

Granted, I didn't let my mom finish her sentence, reassured her that I just don't really want my mom fighting with my friends (because she had left a comment on the post) and said some good things about Trump to calm her down. So maybe she wasn't really about to say what I think she was going to say, but it sure did seem like it. And that's really scary.

On the bright side, I'm surprised at how well I handled the situation. Peacefully resolved things with both mom and friend.
