I don't think she was saying all of Trump's supporters are violent either.

---

Despite the pent up anger and sadness from the past few months or so, I'm not feeling all bad right now. I'm thankful for some things, and part of me is almost happy. It's still scary, but I'm starting to be less afraid.

Pretty good about the outcome of last night's Presidential election here in the USA, and to know that there's still a really good deal of sensible people in this country. Image

But tired at the same time today because it had been a long night, lol
To be frank, I'm not seeing these sensible people you're referring to. Are you talking about the violent Trump supporters? The people who want to commit suicide based on the outcome? Or are you talking maybe about the people who've been vitriolic over other people's voting choices? Please enlighten me.

Or actually really don't because I'm assuming you just said this to be #different and #edgy or whatever. We get it. You were a Trump supporter. Good for you.

Tired.
Oh so Trump supporters are all violent and suicidal now? Guess voting for Trump isn't sensible now? Were all just idiots aren't we? Different? Edgy? What are you going on about? Man has a right to feel good.

---

Tired and a bit lonely.
We Skyped about this. You know that's not what I meant, dude. ^^ Thanks @Carl and Marizzle.

Feeling okay.

I feel the best course of action is to have your own opinion and then STFU and let others have theirs.
Nobody actually cares if you disagree with them anyway so why bother saying anything? There's seven billion people out there, who has the time to argue with every person who thinks differently to them?
Politics aren't the be all and end all of what direction your country will go in, you know who has the power, we do, nobody else should be more important in your life than yourself and your own happiness and quite frankly there are plenty of reasons to be happy and love life away from politics.
I wasn't best pleased with the 2015 elections in my country or the Brexit vote to be honest but has it actually impacted my life? Nope, I still work the same job, have the same wonderful friends and family that I had, I can still travel to other countries, if anything I'm happier than I was simply because that's what I chose to be and worked towards.
You lead by example, having a go at everyone who thinks differently to you is encouraging everyone else to do the same.

I don't mean to sound like I'm strolling through Main Street on the highest of horses, but y'know, you as an individual can make your own decisions and have a right to live how you want to as well, your life doesn't have to revolve around political outcomes.

I agree with your post but not sure who you're aiming it at. Is this aimed at me? Because TBQH I'm really not even that bothered that Trump won and I really don't care that much if someone voted for him. I only get bothered when people are smug about it, which I personally think isn't that unreasonable.

I likely overreacted/misconstrued it but tbh that was really the only reason I said anything.

But I'll be quiet about it now. It really doesn't matter that much anyway aha.
