You did the right thing TTB-Kun! (also lol) Also, I'll just assume Scar never bore children until Disney states otherwise. Nuka said that because DIsney wanted to make it very, very, VERY clear that Kovu isn't Scar's son and that Kiara could have a romantic relationship with him. Yes, audiences can be difficult to explain to, just look at how many people are still confused when The Lion Guard takes place on Twitter and Facebook. Was Nuka's delivery implication of his bloodline to Scar? I think the film creators didn't put as much thought into these things as fans do.
then why would he even say kovu's not scars son? there's no reason for it. I know the creators likely included it for the audience's sake and didn't consider the implications, but I don't see an in character reason for Nuka to say Kovu isn't Scar's son if Nuka also isn't. I'm not saying it's canon, I'm just saying it's a valid interpretation.
that line was added to reinforce the fact that kovu's not scar son so no incest

I know. that's why I said "I know the creators likely included it for the audience's sake".

I'm not arguing that theory's true, I'm just arguing that the theory hasn't yet been disproved in canon.

You're right Nilla. It's up to interpretation and I find people's theories interesting.

Well, this conversation has gone places. For the record, I'm in agreement that Nuka's resentment towards Scar in that "Scar wasn't even [Kovu's] father" line has plenty of in-character weight behind it without Nuka actually being related to Scar. He was just overlooked even though he felt he was qualified because he was the oldest, etc. Also, if we're really going to get into this with deleted scenes, let's remember then that Nala had left the Pridelands as a result of Scar making moves on her because he had no queen (no Zira, so they weren't close at that point) or "little Scars", and only a few days later does she return with Simba.

I think we're all missing the important part here: Vitani and Fuli are going to fight!

Sure, that's one plausible theory. Also, yes the fight will be awesome (even if brief)
Scar just went on Maury. Turns out, he is not the daddy.

He did a little dance.
Wait what do you mean LV? It hasn't been confirmed if he is or isn't the father of Nuka. :(

Maury is a trashy tv talk show where people get paternity tests. I tried to find an mlk appropriate clip but I couldn't.
Why do we fall? So that we can learn to pick ourselves back up again.

Ah, ok. By the way, do you think that Zira could have at least been Scar's mate but only for a little while? Just curious. To be honest I kind of dislike Zira's new vocie.
