Yeah, I agree with both of you guys! It would make a lot of sense as to why he's a messy hair ball. XD I don't know how to describe him! XD I'm pretty sure that he was even born during Scar's reign and apparently a Lion would kill any cubs that are not rightfully his. (I'm not sure if this is true or not) Also, even if he is revealed to be Scar's cub, it could possibly explain why Nuka only calls him by his nick name and not "father" because of how much he despised him?

You are right, Sadly in reality of the animal kingdom Males lions will kill cubs that are not theres, I hate it but thats the real circle of life, but they dont want to show that when it comes to kids, at least not at this age.

I have really high hopes for this ep.. oh please let them reveal more footage! and for me, that headstripe of Zira means the world.. it's like having a suddenly-purple Kovu or something XD

good points, but in SP Nuka says, about Kovu "he is not even really Scars son, I deserve to be heir" or something like this, so I assumed that Nuka was Scars biological son (although that would make him cousins to Simba, which is never mentioned)

Just because zira wasn't scar's mate, doesn't mean he can't be scar's son adopted by zira.
OR The Lion Guard can ignore what the director said that's not actually enforced in the movie.

edit: I read the link closer, and i don't think that has to mean that zira can't be scar's mate with Nuka. He said that it was the best he remembers it, and the change was just to prevent incest anyway. letting her have Nuka with Scar wouldn't be incest, and it'd make perfect sense within the context of the movie if that turned out to be the case. She was never explicitly said NOT to be his mate after all. Their relationship was just "obscured"

this not imply that nuka is related to scar in any way, Nuka is just saying that Kovu isn't scar's son, that's it,
Nuka said he was supposed to be the heir cause he was older, stronger and smarter than Kovu


anyway is simple, if Nuka was Scar's there will be no reason to hide it in the movie and it would be clear, but it's not, and hits are all in the opposite direction so... yeah. Nuka is not Scar son clearly.
