My Godparents are quite great, actually. They're definitely two of the few people I'm closest to in my family and respect the most. Thankfully, I don't have anything negative to say about them.

Ah, okay. Thanks for explaining, everyone. I thought that's what they were but didn't know that it was that common of a thing. I don't think I or any of my friends ever had any official godparents so maybe it's just not really a thing here.

Welp, finally have a day where I can feel like I'm not going to die. Awesome. Might even have time for a nap when I get home. Can't remember the last time I had one of those. xD

Holiday officially authorised for Butlins in June. Just got to get my deposit paid for the accomodation now. With that and the GoT season 6 blu-ray, I think that will be it for treats in November.

Huh... I never thought about it but, I've not noticed godparents being a prominent custom in English-speaking countries either. Very weird, it's actually the norm in Greece and while mine eventually drifted off (as far as I know) from my parents I definitely recall them being prominent when I was very young.

Customs are weird man.
