Glad to hear you thought that. Tbh it kinda pissed me off a little. lol But yeah, it sounds like she has some growing up to do for sure.

Yeah, or that there are still thousand of people who die from hunger
every day and that, whether some silly bleeding hearts on the Internet like it or not, over two-thirds of the land we get food from worldwide can't actually grow crops on it. Only animals. That's a huge amount. So... I don't know how they propose that we get rid of livestock, or why we should.
Plus honestly farmers cop enough **** and barely make any money even without people making up random BS facts about how American livestock farms make 18% of greenhouse gase emissions (which is untrue) or that growth hormones in milk are the end of the world (even though the
exact same ones already naturally occur in milk anyway, but again, these people don't base things off science it seems so whatever, like you said you can't really explain this crap to them - they don't bother listening...).
And also - speaking of farms - ask them where fertilizers come from, as well. Because you definitely need those on a farm and if you're not using synthetic fertilizers that take a lot of energy to produce you're using animal manure. Which comes from livestock.
