Vegans -_- 90% of them are so preachy and rude. I mean, good on you for becoming one and good luck to you. BUT.. don't start criticising us who decide not to be vegans. It's a CHOICE. It's always vegans and never vegetarians who go off on one -_-
THIS SO MUCH. One thing is expressing their opinion and speaking about their lifestyle, another is attacking anyone who doesn't follow the same lifestyle.
Yeah. I want to be a vegan one day for health reasons, because of the environment (raising animals for slaughter takes up a lot of land) and I care for animals. I can't until I am financially independant. The people I live with would not accept it.
But most vegans I have met are pushy, rude, elitist...I don't want to be like that.
Why do we fall? So that we can learn to pick ourselves back up again.

Going vegan isn't necessarily healthier. If anything, you have to be careful to avoid the risk of nutritional deficiencies. There's a reason why humans evolved to eat meat as well as plants, and that's because being omnivorous significantly reduces the potential for malnutrition.
If you want to eat healthier, try this: stop eating so much sugar. It's sugar that's probably the most unhealthy component in any person's diet.
Yeah, i've almost completely given up sodas. I try not to consume white bread anymore, consuming whole wheat bread instead. I try not to eat much chocolate, cake (I think on my birthday it is ok to eat a little bit of cake) or any sugary non-soda beverages.
No sugary cereals either. I do have some ice cream, maybe once a month. I try to avoid the excessive ben and jerries ice cream. I also try to limit sugary sauces.
I also avoid putting sugar in my tea or coffee.

Awesome... As if losing my mother isn't enough yet now one of my best friends is diagnosed with cancer as well. Dear life, I already know you are an ugly, ruthless and cruel asshole so there's no need for you to show your asshole side once again.

YES!! Then us Vegetarians get a bad name because people think we are the same. We aren't at all! Eat whatever the hell you like *nods*.
