what happened to Timons father?

When I saw the hakuna matata movie, I saw Timon had a mother, Ma, and an uncle, Max. I really wonder what happened to his father. Is it mentioned in the movie? Did he die, or run away? I only saw this movie twice, so I don't know if I missed something....

Timon's dad was deleted from the movie, for a reason I don't know. It's really unknown what happened to him. All stories are theories, not facts.

Well I don't think Timon got his carelessness and love of freedom from Ma so maybe his dad had a similar epiphany and ran off like Timon.

That could have been possible. I saw some conceptual drawings of Timons father, I think the plan was to put his father in the movie in the first place.....but he was taken out for ? reason. Any fan theories about this characters name/appereance?

I agree with you about the Timon-Pumbaa stuff! There should have been at least ONE new lion character in that 3rd movie..... there were 5 new lion characters in SP!

In my Lion King 11/2 DVD, there is a deleted scene where Timon has a father. But I suppose Disney cut him out.
