I'm sorry. I wish I had something more to say other than that but I've only experienced a friend being killed in a freak accident and another that was by suicide but I can't imagine what it's like knowing that a person took that person's life.
I don't really expect you to want to and honestly I think you should be talking about it to your other colleagues who knew him rather than just me the random internet stranger but if you do want to talk then I'm here.

I was just popping in to say that this is better now.

Okay... apparently not. Having a coworker be the victim of murder is definitely not better. :(

Thanks for all the love, guys. I ended up being at work only one hour, because I couldn't stop crying. I'm home now, I've had something to eat. And now I am just going to try and cope. No one should have their life taken from them. I'm feeling heartbroken, hurt, angry... a whole mix of emotions. Overall I'm just sad.

I don't know if I'm ready to talk yet. But I appreciate and love you all so much. <3

Dayum.

I'm sorry for your loss buffy. I thought I was having a crappy day today but my day seems to be nothing compared to yours.

Hope they catch the human scum who did that.

Ditto to Flip and everyone else. I've dealt with death before but not something like that. I'm really sorry for your loss, it must be terrible. Please let me know if you need anything.

^Thanks guys, I really appreciate. I've only ever had to deal head on with the death of my dog... and that was cancer. This is just so shocking and unexpected. I've stopped crying, but I've gotten to the numbness part. I'm literally just sitting here wondering what to do with myself... because the idea of doing anything at all seems wrong given the situation.

^ I understand. :hug2: Unexpected deaths are always the worst because it reminds you of your own mortality and the fact that your life can end at any moment. It's sobering and scary and it doesn't feel right. That being said, though, while it may feel wrong to you now, you have to remember to try to live life to the fullest because it might cease to be right when you least expect it. People tend to think that the end of their lives will come when they are old and prepared and ready for it... but that's often not the case, and sometimes there's just no warning at all. Sometimes people are 100% fine and healthy one day and not there anymore the next.

Continue on in his memory and live the life that he was unfairly denied. I would think that he would want you to.

Sorry that I can't really do anything more to help. It's very likely that nothing that I can say will make anything better. I'm just doing what I can, the only way I know how. I dealt with the unexpected death of a friend once and it was a life-changing experience. I know that others have been through similar.

Either way, sending lots of love. Hang in there. /3

^*big hugs* That really helped, Janna. I really appreciate it. The day is basically over for me, I'm glad to put it behind me. I'm going to sleep, and pray for a better tomorrow.
