A few weeks ago I found a brown recluse spider in my room. Brown Recluses are almost as bad as black widow spiders in terms of how badly they will hurt you if they bite you.

Suffice to say i'm now having pest control spray the house once every month to be safe.

I'm reminded of how a few years ago I killed a spider in my bathroom. Bad idea! The spider was apparently carrying hundreds of baby spiders. As the little darlings were crawling around I was shreiking like a banshee and not only do I fear regular spiders now, I fear seeing hundreds more after killing one of them.

One of the reasons why I use the cup and paper trick :lol:

^ Easy! Grab a cup or large container. Place over the spider. Slide paper underneath and tip upside down so spider is in the bottom of the container. Throw spider out the window or door.

TBF most people on MLK just hang around The Den and barely even notice the contests. Plus there just isn't that much activity like there was a few years ago anymore. So that's probably why.

Yeah I know. Still hoping a more specific theme gets some people's gears turning. If there's no interest in a week or so I'll just remove the restriction, and if contests keep getting so few entries, I'll just stop holding them. No biggie.

Okay, so my computer decided to scare the ever-loving crap out of me by not playing any sound out of it. After it accidentally fell off of something.

This is the second close call I've had where I thought my computer was seriously damaged and it wasn't. Luckily a restart fixed it, but still... not cool to prank me like that, dude. :facepaw:
