IKR? There's an awful lot of those types, too. It's so annoying sometimes and just sad others.

"Got disowned by your overly religious parents for being gay and have nowhere to stay now? JUST TRAVEL THE WORLD!!! DON'T CARE ABOUT THE MONEY JUST GO!!!"

This is legitimately something I read last night, as if someone who just got kicked out of their own house (in Russia no less) would have the money to follow such awful advice.

Must be awfully nice to be born so well-off you think people can actually do that in the current economy.

Also was another post calling the person a coward for being in the closet before they got discovered, clearly clueless about what being gay could result to in Russia.

Yeah that takes it to a whole nother level. People who are really well off can be very entitled though. Some don't seem capable of comprehending that life isn't as easy for many others as it is for them. Tbh when people get kicked out of home around here, if they don't got a friend to stay with, they're living out of their car. And if they don't have a car... :ugh:

And this most certainly isn't Russia, gay people have a bit better odds here.

I completely agree with you on all that! Your child is your child at the end of the day. Wether they be gay, straight, bi, trans. When they are 'coming out the closet' that's when their going to want their parents support the most. It's appalling when they turn their backs on their children just for being different =( I could never do that to my little one. I'll always have her back in life with anything. And if you've been kicked out... your hardly going to have a gold mine in your bank to travel the world:/

As for the while rich people thing, I could write an essay on how much that annoys me with them thinking everyone has endless amounts of money. Whilst a small majority worked for their money, some of us didn't get money handed to us on a silver platter and have alot more bills and outgoings to pay for so we've not got the luxury of just being able to 'TRAVEL THE WORLD!!!' At the drop of a hat. Some people need a serious reality check as it's not as easy for some as others.

Me, I'm in and out of debt. Don't buy myself alot, but I'm grateful for what I have and work damn hard for what I've got. Sure I get down occasioanlly, but money doesn't buy you happiness and those rich people will realise it in time.

I'll shut up now xD

I'm wondering what to do today.... I might take madam down that big park near my nans to see the wildlife there followed by a picnic :) Free and memory making time xD

^ God, tell me about it. Generally seeing someone with that attitude is the easiest way to see just how unaware they are of their wealth vs. the reality of the average person.

Not that travelling is a bad thing, I adore travelling, but when people worship doing travelling as a way of "discovering yourself" and doing adventurous things at the drop of a hat you just know how detached from reality they really are.

The worst part is that post was on reddit and it was gilded. Twice. Two people spent actual money gilding the most superficial and unpractical advice you'll ever come across. God, I hate reddit sometimes.

I set Skype to "available" because I'm bored and wouldn't mind talking to someone but also have other ways to pass the time, so I minimize it and do something else only to click on it later and discover it's switched my status to "invisible" on its own. I set it to "invisible" deliberately because I'm busy or don't have the energy for people or am going to bed, only to wake up to a message left 6 hours ago and find the status has set itself to "available."

What in the world am I s'posed to do with this thing? Messages left hours ago always make me feel awkward and anxious. I don't want people to think I'm ignoring them but it's been way too long to reply to it normally, and they are typically offline or away by then anyhow. :hackingcough:

So apparently I act like a six year old :?. Ok right whatever. Least I can laugh at myself and have fun rather than being serious all the time. She needs to chill the fudge out .

And great....I have to go see her again . I thought one of the points of putting her in a home was that we could have a break from her now and again. Ugh! She was horrible to my sister yesterday and I haven't forgiven her for that. I really cannot be doing with her today.

It's my life too, but I do the dishes at a restaurant and get paid for it, which I guess is a key difference. :P

I'd say more an 8 year old :P But seriously, some people do really need to chill out. Nothing wrong with having fun. Smile, wave and ignore :D

Ugh, wish my baby would stop trying to eat paper.

Woo my mental age just keeps increasing .

Ugh. Well she was horrendous :kionugh:. Knew she would be and she snapped at me....so I put her straight. I'm sorry but no-one treats my dad like crap and gets anyway with it. Even his own mum.
